The Russell County FFA recently attended the Kentucky FFA State Convention at the Central Bank Center in Lexington where several members competed in various competitions.
The Ag Sales Team consisting of Lucas McFall, Bryanna Smith, Elizabeth Hoskins, and Emily Coe competed in the 3 part state competition, Chloe Robertson competed in the Horse Speech, Alexis Fox competed in the Goat and Sheep Speech, Jasmin Grant competed in the Fruit and Vegetable Production Speech, Elizabeth Hoskins competed in the Dairy Production Speech.
Chloe Robertson and Alexis Fox also represented the chapter at the state delegate business meeting and helped pass the vote to allow 6th graders FFA membership with school districts that have middle school FFA chapters.
Bryanna Smith, Elizabeth Hoskins, and Abby Wolford were also awarded their KY State FFA Degrees at the convention.
