Road rage incident in Eli leads to Russell County man’s arrest

A reported road rage incident in the Eli community resulted in a Russell County man being arrested over the weekend.

According to Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston, 45-year-old Adam Frank was arrested Saturday night and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.

According to reports, Frank hit a vehicle and ran another driver off the road before he was pulled over by deputies and found to be in possession of several prescription opioids, along with cash, according to Polston.

Frank was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center a little after 9 p.m. Saturday.
