A couple of local cooperatives are holding annual events this week.
Duo Broadband’s annual meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. at the Russell County High School Gym with registration beginning at 6 p.m.
Duo Broadband members meet every year to elect trustees and take care of other business. As always, a number of door prizes are also scheduled to be given away to registered attendee members.
South Kentucky RECC will be holding their annual Russell County membership day tomorrow, Wednesday, June 7th at their US 127 location in Jamestown.
Beginning at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow and going until 4:30 p.m., cooperative members can come by and register for prizes, receive a free bucket and lightbulbs, and vote for a district 3 director in a contested matchup.
