The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department will begin collecting donations for the WHAS Crusade for Children today.
Volunteers will be set up today through Sunday at the intersection of Highway 127 and Highway 80 in Russell Springs collecting donations.
Last year, the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department collected more than $11,000.
This will be the 53rd year the fire department has been involved in collecting donations.
The WHAS Crusade for Children raises funds for agencies, schools, and hospitals, all with the shared goal of improving the lives of children with special needs.
