Russell County gas prices, on average, are currently running in the middle of the pack with regard to neighboring counties’ prices, according to data from AAA.
The company’s gas price tracker has the average price of gas in Russell County at $3.19. That’s lower than the neighboring counties of Cumberland, Clinton and Wayne. Adair, Casey and Pulaski County each currently have lower average prices than Russell County.
Cumberland County has some of the highest-priced gas in the area at an average of $3.32.
Russell County comes in lower than the state average, which is also $3.32.
According to AAA, average prices across the state range from $2.99 in Daviess County to $3.77 in the Louisville area.
