A sample ballot for Russell County for the upcoming 2023 Kentucky Primary Election has been released by the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office.
Among the dozen Republican candidates for governor appearing on the ballot are former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, Somerset Mayor Alan Keck, and State Auditor Mike Harmon, among others.
Incumbent Governor Andy Beshear is being challenged by two other opponents on the Democratic side.
Other races appearing on the ballot include secretary of state, auditor of public accounts, state treasurer, and commissioner of agriculture.
The primary election is Tuesday, May 16.
