Madelyn Roy pitched a 5 inning no-hitter as the Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team picked up a win over Green County last night.
The Lady Lakers won 11-1, as Roy struck out two and walked one in the win.
At the plate, Addy Abrell and Camdin Cooper led the way for Russell County, combining for 7 of the team’s hits and driving in three runs.
The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be back in action today, hosting Southern Middle School.
