Almost 230 persons received degrees and graduated from Somerset Community College last week, making this year’s graduating class one of the largest ever.
The 229 graduates were awarded 445 various degrees, almost 1500 certificates, and over 200 diplomas for the Spring 2024 class.
Dr. Carey Castle, President of the community college, said the significant increase in graduates, credentials and certificates was the result of an ever-increasing desire for higher education in the area and credited the dedication of faculty and staff for the quality education provided by the college
