The Russell County Middle School Soccer teams defeated Meece Middle School last night.
The Lady Lakers won 6-0 with Addison Coffey and Madison Bennett each scoring a pair of goals. Bella Blakey and Ferrah Polston each added a goal as well, and Misha Gregory recorded three saves.
In the boys matchup, the Lakers came out on top 2-1 with Rady Mendez and Andre Perez each scoring a goal. Xavion Russell had five saves for the Lakers.
The teams host Meece Middle School tonight, beginning at 5 p.m.
