The Russell County Middle School Laker Baseball team defeated Metcalfe County last night by a score of 10-6.
Jace Skaggs and Evan Hutchison each drove in a pair of runs to help lead the Lakers to victory, and Talon Huckaby picked up the win on the mound.
The middle school Lakers are back at home Thursday hosting Campbellsville.
