The Russell County Middle School Baseball team defeated Metcalfe County last night by a score of 12-7.
Holden Hadley and Talan Huckaby each had 3 hits for the Lakers, and Hadley drove in three runs.
Jay Helm picked up the win for Russell County and Luke Walters earned the save.
The middle school Lakers take on Metcalfe County again today, this time at home, beginning at 5 p.m.
