The Russell County Middle School Laker Baseball team defeated Barren County in three innings on Friday.
The Lakers won 15-3 over the Trojans.
Luke Walters drove in five runs for the Lakers on two hits. Brody Terry drove in three runs on a pair of hits.
Evan Hutchison got the win pitching for the Lakers and Jay Helm picked up the save.
The Lakers go on the road to Metcalfe County this evening beginning at 5 p.m.
