The Russell County High School Track Team competed in Mercer County this week.
Here are a few results of note from the meet.
The relay team of Jozelynne Weisbrodt, Natalie Bartrug, Tyra Popplewell, and Olivia Hinkle finished 2nd in the 4×100 relay and 3rd in the 4×200 relay.
The relay team of Byron Kirkland-Lundy, Clayton Trosper, Jonah Skaggs, and Kinnett Wills finished 3rd in the 4×200 relay.
The relay team of Aydan Hardwick, Parker Riggins, Kirkland-Lundy, and Wills finished 3rd in the 4×100 relay.
Maleah Preston finished 5th in the 100M hurdles and 6th in the long jump.
Clayton Trosper finished 2nd in the 300M hurdles and 4th in the 110M hurdles.
Byron Kirkland-Lundy finished 2nd in the long jump and 4th in the 100M dash.
Jozelynne Weisbrodt finished 4th in the 200M dash.
Olivia Hinkle placed 4th in the long jump.
