The Russell County High School Lady Laker Softball team will be on the road this evening for a district matchup with Monroe County.
The Lady Lakers defeated Monroe County at home earlier this season in a back-and-forth affair by a score of 13-12.
The Lady Lakers will host Senior Night tomorrow before another district matchup with Cumberland County.
The senior ceremony for the team’s two seniors, Jadyn Mann and Emma Popplewell, will take place at about 5:10 with the game getting underway at 5:30 p.m.
