The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team bounced back in a big way from a 9-game losing skid by defeating district rival Monroe County on the road last night by a score of 10-2.
Mallie McQueary and Addie Davis hit home runs in the game, the first of the season for each.
The Lady Lakers are back at home tonight for a district matchup with Cumberland County for Senior Night. Senior ceremonies will get underway at 5:10 with first pitch scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
