
The Russell County Lakers picked up a close win last night over the Adair County Indians.
The Lakers came out on top by a score of 9-8, holding off a late Adair County rally in which the Indians scored 6 runs in the 7th inning.
At the plate, Trace Stringer drove in three runs for the Lakers while Alden Brumley, Owen Loy, and Ayden McGowan each finished with a pair of hits.
The Lakers are back at home on Thursday, hosting Wayne County.
