Jamestown man arrested for fleeing police, other traffic offenses

A Jamestown man was arrested by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday evening for fleeing or evading police and other traffic offenses, according to jail records.

Dustin Arnold, age 28, was charged with fleeing or evading police 1st degree (motor vehicle), reckless driving, speeding 25 mph over the limit, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st.

Arnold was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputy Sheriff Joshua Phipps was the arresting officer.
