Danny Dale Turner, of Dunnville, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his home. He was 70 years of age.
Born on September 7, 1952, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Avery Carlene and Clara Luttrell Turner. Danny was a truck driver and over the years, had worked with several local businesses, such as Royce Campbell and Sons Trucking, Tarter Industries, as well as the Casey County Road Department. He was also a former bleach and dye worker at Fruit of the Loom Inc., in Jamestown. He was considered a good friend and neighbor by all around him.
Survivors include his wife, Maeleen Anderson Turner, whom he married on July 25, 1979; a daughter, Sarina Fay (and Michael) Cronin, of Holly Springs, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Aurora Cronin; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Terwilliger; his grandparents, Oscar and Dollie Luttrell and Cordie and Elloda Turner; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM CST Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Luttrell Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM CST, until time of services.
Larry Beasley, Harvey Luttrell, Phillip Holt, Derek Stephens, George Terwilliger, and David Terwilliger will serve as Danny’s pallbearers.
