Neighboring Clinton County Schools will be closed today and Friday due to high levels of sickness among students and staff.
The school district will utilize NTI for these days.
In Russell County, Superintendent Michael Ford said school attendance numbers are good.
According to a report Ford sent to WJRS News, district attendance on Wednesday was near 94 percent, with the lowest being at Russell County Middle School and Salem Elementary, both of which were slightly above 92 percent.
