An arrest was made early Wednesday in the alleged theft of a Dodge pickup truck earlier this week in Russell Springs.
According to police, at around 4:30 yesterday morning, 23-year-old Sarha Harris of Russell Springs was taken into custody and charged with theft by unlawful taking of an auto over $1,000 but less than $10,000.
Police responded to a call regarding a female that had ditched a white truck and left on foot; other calls had also been received concerning a female attempting to steal other vehicles.
Harris was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
Russell Springs Police Officer Vance Davis is the investigating officer. Davis was assisted by Russell Springs Police Officer Jeremie West and Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Phipps.
