A Russell Springs man was arrested on multiple charges Friday night by Russell Springs Police.
According to police records, 29-year-old Joe D. Johnson was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, resisting arrest, reckless driving, no registration, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
According to police, Russell Springs Police Officer Mason Miniard observed Johnson driving on US 127 after 9 p.m. Friday with no headlights or tail lights and swerving on the road.
Miniard was the arresting officer and Johnson was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
