Neighboring Adair, Wayne counties receive funding from KADB

The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board recently approved just over $1.2 million for agricultural diversification and rural development projects across Kentucky at its monthly board meeting.

The funding includes $6,189 for On-Farm Energy Efficiency Incentives in neighboring Adair County and $15,000 for neighboring Wayne County’s Youth Agricultural Incentives Program to encourage youth to engage in and explore agricultural opportunities.

The funds in Adair County will provide incentives for farm families to increase the energy efficiency of existing equipment or facilities on their farm.

All application periods and deadlines for these programs will be advertised locally.
