Several members of the Russell County Laker Swim & Dive teams competed at the state championships over the weekend.
In the girls 200 freestyle relay, the team of Marlei Devore, Ally Stephens, Kendall Melton, and Alexa Stephens finished 38th overall.
In the boys 200 freestyle, Jacob Phillips finished 23rd and finished 20th overall in the 500 freestyle.
In the boys 400 freestyle relay, the team of Phillips, Ben Kislan, Ethan Hart, and Weston Ryan finished 36th.
In the boys 200 medley relay, the team of Phillips, Ryan, Kislan, and Jameson Webb finished 36th overall as well.
