The monthly Russell County Community Blood Drive takes place today.
The blood drive goes from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room, located at 2405 N. Main Street in Jamestown.
Donors will be entered to win a $100 gift card sponsored by Cooper and Associates Law.
January is National Blood Month, and the Kentucky Blood Center says donations are typically lower in December, so January is a critical month to increase the blood donation supply.
