State Representative Savannah Maddox has dropped out of the Kentucky governor’s race.
Maddox, a Republican, announced she was running for governor back in June.
In a statement, Maddox said despite traveling extensively across the state, holding fundraisers, making phone calls, and sending direct mail, it was clear that she would not have the resources to be successful in her campaign.
