Casey County Judge-Executive Responds to Complaints About Spectrum Contractors

The Casey County Judge-Executive’s Office is responding to complaints about contractors working on Spectrum’s fiber installation and broadband expansion project.

Judge Randy Dial says residents have reported damage to yards and private property, construction debris being left behind, equipment being placed on private property and workers entering property without permission. Other complaints involve traffic control, equipment parked along roadways and interactions with property owners.

The county has contacted Spectrum, which established a dedicated email address for Casey County complaints: spectrum.casey@spectrum.com

Residents should include the location, date and time, a description of the incident, photographs and identifying information from contractor vehicles or equipment when possible.

Dial says he supports expanded broadband service but expects the work to be performed safely, professionally and with respect for residents and their property.
