The Lady Lakers won their opening round matchup in the Bankers Hardwood Classic Wednesday night, taking down Green County 50-36.
Rachel Bolin led the scoring for Russell County in the win, finishing with 17 points. Addison Hart scored 7 and Addy Abrell, Jaterria Coffey, and Karley Luttrell finished with 6 points each. Hannah Yates finished with a team-high 9 rebounds.
With the win, the Lady Lakers will play again today at 6 p.m. at home against Spencer County.
