The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Basketball teams took 2 of 3 over Cumberland County on Friday.
The 8th grade team won 39-30 with Kenna Ccamaque finishing with 10 points and Camdin Cooper and Madelyn Roy each adding 9.
The 7th grade team won 50-21 with Addison Coffey leading the way with 18 points and Addy Abrell adding 12.
The Lady Lakers fell short in the 6th grade game, falling 17-13. Linden Kate Wilson, Layla West, and Marlee McGowan each scored 3 points.
