The Russell County Laker Soccer team came away with a 3-1 victory on the road at Campbellsville High School yesterday.
The Eagles got on the board first, but Ashton Jones scored a goal on an assist by Mynor Chic-Radilla to tie the game in the first half.
In the second half, Geison Maradiaga scored on a goal assisted by Connor Holmes and the Lakers put the finishing touches on the win with a penalty kick goal by Chance Betts-Jimenez.
The win moves the Lakers to 3-8 on the season, with a big district match at Monroe County coming up on Tuesday.
