The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team continued its winning streak, making it nine wins in a row with a 2-0 win over visiting Glasgow on Monday.
The Lady Lakers took the first set 25-12 and followed that up with a 25-19 win in the second set to move to 13-1 on the season.
JV and Freshman each picked up 2-0 wins as well on the night.
Briley Murray led the way with 9 kills on the night, followed by Rachel Webb with 5, Kenzie Kelsey with 4, and Jaterria Coffey and Lauren White with 3 each.
Murray and White each had a block, Avery Hart had 21 assists, and Olivia Pierce had 4 service aces.
The Lady Lakers will look to continue their winning ways with a matchup against Allen County-Scottsville tonight at Laker Gym. The action will get underway at 5:30 p.m.
