Beginning on Wednesday, KY 768 in neighboring Adair County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform bridge deck restorations, according to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 8 officials.
Work is scheduled to be done at mile point 1.4 (Big Creek Bridge) located between KY 959 and Ollen James Road.
Temporary traffic signals will be in place on the east and west bound approaches for the lane closures. In addition, lane widths will be reduced to 9’ 6”.
Work is expected to be completed Wednesday, October 19th. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
