The Russell County Laker Soccer team finished third in the Scotties Classic at Glasgow over the weekend.
The Lakers picked up a big win over Butler County in the event over the weekend by a score of 10-0.
Multiple players got in on the scoring effort.
Connor Holmes had three goals in the game, and Mynor Chic-Radilla finished with two goals, along with three assists.
Keegan Wade, Ashton Jones, Elijah Grayum, Geison Maradiaga, and Will Pratt each finished with a goal.
Cayden George and Xavier Betts-Jimenez each finished with a pair of assists, and Grayum and Dawson Bradshaw each finished the game with an assist.
The Lakers took losses to Todd County Central and Hart County in the weekend event as well, and now sit at 2-6 on the season.
