The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season to the Taylor County Lady Cardinals in a 2A tournament matchup last night.
The Lady Lakers fell in three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-11.
With the loss, the Lady Lakers fall to 4-1 on the season but will have a chance to get back in the win column with a district matchup against Cumberland County tonight at Laker Gym.
The freshman match will get underway at 5:30 p.m.
