Independence Day is typically a popular holiday for visitors to vacation to Lake Cumberland, and Russell County Tourism Director Danielle Wilson said this past weekend was no exception.
Wilson said the annual Lakefest in Jamestown, along with regular visitors to Lake Cumberland, drew large numbers of people to Russell County.
