The Lake Cumberland Tourist Commission Board of Directors elected board officers during a special-called meeting this week, keeping restaurant representative and longtime board member Randy Baird as board chairman and selecting board member Lisa Gosser, the chamber of commerce’s representative, as vice chair.
Kim Kelsey, who was appointed to the board in June of 2021 by Judge-Executive Gary Robertson, will remain as treasurer.
The meeting also served as the first meeting for new board members Whitney Marcum, who was also judge-appointed, and Anissa Hammond, who replaced Kim Byrom and Heather Weaver, respectively. Other tourist commission board members are David Dyson, the general manager at Marina @ Rowena and Stephen Eastin, the park manager at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, who along with Hammond of Gran’s Place, represent the local hotel/motel association.
