School district’s updated code of conduct available online

The Russell County School District has made their updated code of conduct book available online so that parents and guardians can review it prior to signing the accompanying acknowledgment form.

One notable change this year is for afternoon pick-up participants. As a result of state safety audits and the district’s continuing efforts to make students safe on campus, those entering campus to pick up the students in the afternoon pick-up line will not be permitted to enter school campuses prior to 15 minutes before the school’s time of dismissal.

The updated code of conduct book can be found at www.russellcountyschools.com. Click on district, then click forms and links and then on the 2022-23 code of conduct book. The first day of classes is Wednesday, August 17th.
