A death investigation is underway in Wayne County after a four-month old infant was found unresponsive in a home on South 2nd Street in Monticello, according to radio station Z93.
Local first responders were called to the residence just after 9 p.m. Tuesday, and the infant was rushed to Wayne County Hospital but was later pronounced deceased by the Wayne County Coroner’s Office.
The Kentucky State Police in London is handling the investigation.
No other details have been made available.
