Tammy LaFavers, age 57, of Jamestown

Tammy LaFavers, of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Russell County Hospital.  She was 57 years of age.

Born November 1, 1964, in Somerset, she was a daughter of the late William Clifford and Ruth Hill Cox.  Tammy enjoyed drawing and doing diamond painting artwork.  In addition to her children, she leaves behind her best friend, Brenda Wooldridge, and her beloved cat, Blue.

Survivors include her son, Justin (and Erin) LaFavers, of Russell Springs; a daughter, Kayla (and Matthew) Wilham, of Russell Springs; two brothers, Ronnie (and Darlene) Cox and Greg (and Pat) Cox, both of Russell Springs; five sisters, Debbie Cox, of Independence, Ginger (and Paul) Strickland, of Williamsburg, Philishia Crum and Cassie Cox, both of Ohio, and Kimberly Humfleet, of Winfield, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Addacin Hill, Ethen LaFavers, Brycin LaFavers, Dominick LaFavers, Nolan LaFavers, and Loni LaFavers.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by a son, Jordan LaFavers, and an infant brother, Billy Joe Cox.

Funeral services for Tammy will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Ronnie Hamilton officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home at 1:00 PM, until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of sympathy be made to offset funeral expenses.
