Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford received a strong vote of confidence from the board of education at an end-of-the-fiscal year board meeting held Thursday afternoon.
Ford received exemplary grades in each standard from the board, the best grade a superintendent can receive from a board.
The board went into executive session during the meeting, but the executive session lasted less than 15 minutes before the board returned to open session and revealed the results.
