The Russell County High School Bass Fishing duo of Will Stephens and Lucas Wray finished second in the KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship over the weekend.
The duo of Stephens and Wray finished with a combined catch of 23 pounds and 12 ounces, only trailing a pair from Montgomery County who finished with 25 pounds and 3 ounces.
The other Russell County duo of Clay Ferguson and Nick Aaron finished 71st in the state championships.
