In neighboring Wayne County yesterday, the Wayne County Rescue Squad was called out to assist with a horse that fell into a sinkhole on an area farm.
According to the Wayne County Rescue Squad, team members were called out at about 12:40 ET on Monday and were able to use ropes and a tractor to help get the horse out of the hole.
According to reports, the horse was not hurt and rescue workers were able to return it back to the barn of the owner.
