A Russell Springs man was arrested by Kentucky State Police on Sunday on multiple charges.
According to jail records, Christopher Smothers, age 38, was arrested and charged with trafficking in more than two grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operators license in possession, operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, failure to wear a seat belt, and operating on an expired license.
Smothers was arrested by Trooper Gadberry from Kentucky State Police Post 15 and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 11:30 Sunday morning.
