House Bill 564, the election bill sponsored by Rep. Josh Branscum, was signed into law by Governor Andy Beshear on Thursday.
House Bill 564 extends the hours of no-excuse, in-person early voting days and allows six additional days of in-person absentee voting.
The bill would also make it a class D felony to threaten or intimidate precinct officers and poll watchers.
The bill passed through the legislature in a largely bipartisan manner.
