About five weeks remain until the May Primary Election in Russell County.
Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17 with polls open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Three polling places will be open on Election Day. Those locations include the South Kentucky RECC Community Room, the LEVEE Building by Jamestown Christian Church, and Salem Elementary School.
Registered voters in Russell County can vote at any of the three locations.
There will also be three days of early voting in Russell County, which will take place Thursday May 12, Friday May 13, and Saturday May 14.
Any registered voter in Russell County can utilize this early voting by going to the South Kentucky RECC Community Room between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The deadline to register to vote is April 18. Voter registration can be done in the County Clerk’s office or online at elect.ky.gov.
