Two Russell Springs residents were arrested Friday afternoon by Kentucky State Police, according to jail records.
Latasha Popplewell, 34, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance second degree (drug unspecified), and contempt of court.
Douglas Peyton, 50, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
