The Russell County Middle School decision-making council is set to interview candidates for the school’s open principal position at a meeting today.
The council is set to meet at 5:30 this evening, and the council could select a new principal at the meeting.
Former principal Wayne Ackerman took over as the superintendent of Clinton County Schools earlier this year, and Keith Ellis has been filling in the rest of the school year as the interim principal.
