An elderly Albany man in neighboring Clinton County was found dead in his burning home earlier this week, according to a report in the Clinton County News.
The Albany Fire Department was dispatched at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning to a house fire on Old Stearns Road, off Ky. Hwy. 553, that was fully involved at the time of arrival. Fire Chief Robert Roeper said that firefighters found 88-year-old Norman Cross deceased inside the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
