Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Vincent and other authorities are investigating the finding of a deceased male subject in the eastern part of the county near the Wayne County line. Clinton County 911 received a call shortly before 10AM Friday morning staying someone was lying in a field in sight of the callers residence and appeared to be deceased.
Sheriff Vincent, Emergency services coordinator Lucas Abner, and the Clinton County Coroner’s office were dispatched to the scene off Highway 90. A vehicle that appears to be what the deceased person was driving was found in a ditch on Davis Road. The deceased was lying in the field not far from Hubbard Road. The large field is between the two roads.
The body is being sent to the state medical examiner’s office for positive identification. The case remains under investigation by Clinton County Sheriff Vincent.
