The Russell County Middle School Basketball teams were swept in matchups at Campbellsville Middle School on Monday.
The 6th grade team lost by a score of 37-23. Myles Davis led the scoring with 10 points, followed by Connor Davidson with 8, Will Coffey with 4, and Gunner Godbey with 1 point.
The 7th grade team lost a close one, falling by a score of 35-32. Gabe Browning led the scoring with 7 points, followed by Mannix Bell, Tyson Stille, and Cameron Bolin with 6 points each, while Tanner Stringer added 5 points and Alex Norton scored 2 points.
The 8th grade team also lost a close one, falling 45-42. Dylan Stanelle led the scoring with 13 points, along with Noah McMillin at 11 points. Kinnett Wills scored 5 points, and Noah Bennett and Maddox Shearer scored 4 points each. Walker Stephens and Adrian Eads scored two points each, and Max Davis added 1 point.
