The Russell County Middle School 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams picked up big wins over Campbellsville on Monday.
The 8th grade team won 42-14 with Addy Abrell scoring 19 points and Aniyah Coffey scoring 15 points.
The 7th grade team won 51-2 with Abrell scoring 17 points, Kenna Ccamaque scoring 12, and Miley Rankins adding 10.
The 6th grade team fell short, falling by a score of 23-17 with Kaelyn Campbell scoring 6 points.
The RCMS girls will play on Thursday in the first round of the playoffs against either Hart or Green County. The games will be at home, beginning at 5 p.m.
